Ben PhillipsBen Phillips is the President and co-founder of Unlimited Consultants in Philanthropy. With over 20 years of global fundraising experience, Ben is responsible for all aspects of the Firm’s client relationships and works directly with many of the Firm’s clients. As a recognized leader in global fundraising techniques, Ben has been called upon to share his expertise with not-for-profit organizations around the world.  Ben is currently representing clients in major gift campaigns in the USA and the UK.

Prior to co-founding Unlimited in 2000, Ben was a Partner and the Managing Director of the largest fundraising consulting firm in Australia and New Zealand. In that role, Ben was responsible for many of the most successful capital campaigns in Australia and New Zealand. During his tenure at this firm, Ben oversaw the rapid growth of the business and was involved in almost every large University fundraising campaign across two countries. He has worked across all not-for-profit sectors and has been acknowledged for his specific expertise in education, health and the arts.

Ben is a regular speaker at international fundraising conferences and is the contributing Australian author to the fundraising text “International Fundraising for Non-Profits”. Ben was educated in Australia and the United States of America, graduating with a degree in Economics and a MBA.

Currently, Angela represents overseas clients in the USA and Canada by helping them to form a Board and working directly with the Board to find, cultivate and raise money from alumni, friends and foundations. Most recently she worked with the University of Auckland on their campaign to raise $200 million. Angela also works closely with USA-based organizations in a variety of roles; helping them to establish a fundraising office and set priorities and goals; find, research and cultivate potential donors and work with Board members to involve them in fundraising.

Prior to establishing Unlimited Consultants in Philanthropy, Angela worked with Australia and New Zealand’s largest consulting firm representing clients in healthcare, universities and welfare organizations. Before moving to Australia and New Zealand, Angela worked for 11 years in fundraising in the United States gaining experience in major gift fund raising, campaign management, and annual appeals. Some of the organizations she worked for include; Bradley University, Alivio Medical Center, Easter Seals, United Cerebral Palsy and the University of San Francisco. Angela volunteered for one year in Eastern Europe teaching NGO’s how to establish a fundraising office and how to raise and ask for money from a variety of sources.

Angela is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). She is a much sought after speaker at fundraising conferences and is the author of “Successful fundraising techniques – a guide to Eastern Europe”.  Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and marketing from Bradley University and her Masters of Art Degree in Fundraising from Bradley University.
